New Orchestra Workshop Society conducts a series of ten weekly workshops in contemporary improvised music; exploring structures for improvisation, the history of this tradition through audio-visual support, live demonstration, and most importantly – ensemble work with participants. The series culminates in a concert performance featuring an ensemble comprised of instructors and participants.
