Eugene Chadbourne in Concert

Solo prepared guitar. Chadbourne was living in Calgary, developing his music and producing events. It was through him that Leo Smith and Anthony Braxton came to the Front. Chadbourne was yet to become famous for his Shockabilly style. Only one person showed up for this concert, which was nonetheless astonishing, performed on a laptop acoustic guitar with a rat’s nest of strings and a large collection of radical plectra.

Digitized audio of this concert is available through the Western Front Archives upon research request.
