Submission Guidelines
The Performance Art programme provides a venue for diverse practices and welcomes proposals for projects exploring conceptions of performance, its history, and its relationship to other artistic disciplines. Proposed work may exist within or outside the space and may be site-specific.
Events are scheduled between 18 months to two years in advance. The Western Front endeavours to meet or exceed CAR/FAC fees for artists and presenters.
Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis and are reviewed by the Performance Art Director/Curator. Submissions will be returned if accompanied by a stamped self-addressed envelope. Only short-listed proposals will be notified.
Your submission should include:
- brief performance proposal
- 10 to 15 digital images on CD-ROM/DVD, or slides, accompanied by a detailed list of works
- artist statement

Submission proposals may then be mailed to Western Front Performanc Art, 303 East 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5T 1S1. Please do not send originals. The Western Front is not responsible for lost or damaged materials.
