Submission Guidelines
General Information
The Exhibitions Program provides a venue for alternative media practices and welcomes proposals for projects questioning the authority of the gallery and its power to legitimize and contain art. Proposed work may exist within or outside the gallery space and may be site-specific.
Exhibitions are scheduled between 18 months to two years in advance and generally run for five weeks. The Western Front endeavors to meet or exceed CAR/FAC fees for artists and presenters.
Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis and are reviewed by the Exhibitions Director/Curator. Submissions will be returned if accompanied by a stamped self-addressed envelope. Due to the volume received, we regret that only proposals considered for exhibition will be contacted.
