The Western Front is 40! Join us on June 16 for a day of anniversary celebrations.
League, a project by Germaine Koh, with Cedric Bomford, Ian Verchere, and Bruce Emmett, will take place in and around the building and artist collective Instant Coffee will be serving up snow cones. Scrivener’s Monthly, a ‘periodical that talks’, will be presented inside The Tent Shop. Our interactive music installation Sonic Playground will be on site with new projects by Publik Secrets and Leslie Ross with Square One, and, there will be a performance by Voice Over Mind Choir with Scant Intone. Fancy Dress Party, a celebratory screening of works from the Archive and beyond, evokes the history of costume at Western Front with works by Kate Craig, Spartacus Chetwynd, General Idea and many others.
Come by for BBQ! Balloons! Music! Cake! Hat making with Collage Collage! And much more!
