Scrivener’s Monthly is pleased to present a reading by renowned Vancouver writer George Bowering. Author of more then 100 books, Bowering will read from new work alongside a selection of archival recordings from the Western Front and beyond, documenting his life-long work as a writer-performer.
George Bowering (b. 1936 Penticton, B.C.) is a veteran west coast poet and novelist. His first books were published in the sixties, and he continues to write and publish in this new century. He is currently working on a number of books, and in 2015 will publish a YA novel, The Attack of the Toga Gang, as well as a personal anthology of writings about the Okanagan Valley, Desert Elm.
