Presentation of individual and collaborative works by four artists: Bill Bartlett, Peggy Cady, Jim Corte and Tom Gore. The ‘For Continuous Use League’ was formed in 1971 as a communication exchange between artists. This exhibition reflects the League’s concern for image regeneration and transformation through transportation, communication and transmutation. Bill Bartlett was the first person to organize artists’ telecommunications projects in Canada. The first technologies used were electronic mail (I.P.Sharp and Associates) and slowscan video, a device for sending video frames along the telephone line.
